Comments: Produced with carefully selected Sangiovese grapes, with the addition of small quantities of Alicante, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

The grapes are pressed separately and are let macerate for a period of 21 to 28 days, according to the variety. After mixing the varieties the wine is aged for 14 months in small French oak barrels called carati. During this period the malolactic fermentation takes place and the wine is decanted frequently. Before being released it is aged six more months in the bottle.

Il Tempio is a wine which does not undergo any stabilization or clarification process, in order to maintain the character and flavor of the product intact.

Perfect to pair traditional Tuscan recipes, in particular game based dishes and aged cheese.

Comments: Sangiovese based table wine with small addition of Ciliegiolo grapes. Fermented in iron vats at 28° - 32°C. (83.4° - 86°F) with the skin for 10 days, without addition of select yeast. Following the malolactic fermentation in iron vats, it is left to rest fro at least six month in the same containers.

Wine to be drunk young, pairs well with typical Mediterranean recipes.

Comments: The wine has ruby red color with purple tendency. The aroma is intense, decidedly reminiscent of grass and winey. The flavor is full, tannic, and has low alcohol content.

Comments: The Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso (Refosco with the Red Stem) is an ancient native vine which produces the typical wine from Faedis, in the province of Udine. The grapes of this fertile, high production vine generate a ruby red wine with purple highlights. The nose is perfumed, intense and pleasant. Sapid, with consistent body, it is slightly tannic to the palate and perfectly balanced.

Excellent paired with red meat and wild game. Serve at 15 - 18°C (59 - 64°F).

Comments: The Casali in Val di Chio label represent the work and ideas of two young female entrepreneurs who have brought new life to the ancient family business. As a tribute to local traditions, all the wines produced under this brand take their names from the wisdom of the Valdichiana region.

The 'Merigge' is a shady place protected from the summer heat where the peasants rest the body and the mind. The name appropriately defines this intense, round, meditation wine. made with Merlot grapes, this wine is suitable for long ageing and pairs perfectly with noble meats and game. It's also interesting paired with chocolate.

Ripened in tonneau. Any possible residue is but guarantee of the authenticity of the product.

Comments: A 48 hours pre-maceration period at 15°C is followed by 10 days fermentation at 28°C. Maturation lasts for 8 months in stainless steel vats and is followed by 3 months in bottles before release. The wine is released the spring following the harvest.

Ripe fruit perfume with hints of spices, mint and cherry jam. The ripe tannins and lively acidity complement the macerated fruit flavor and leather finish.

Comments: The Sangiovese grapes used to make this Chianti DOCG are produced from five-to-ten year old vines, and are harvested at the end of September. The wine ferments and ages in stainless steel vats.

It is limpid purply-red in color with complex, intense nose which opens with notes of red fruits such as wild berries and cherries, then expands in a delicate violet scent. In the mouth it is warm, yet fresh because of the mineral notes already suggested in the nose. The fine tannins are balanced by the acidity and body of the wine.

Pair with red meat dishes and medium-aged cheese.

Comments: Red wine with a light froth made with native Lambrusco grapes cultivated in the province of Reggio Emilia.
